IT STARTED IN THE DIRT
A machine is more than iron, hydraulics, and horsepower. It's someone's livelihood. When it goes down, the work stops but the bills don't.
Our story started in the equipment industry about 13 years ago. Through different companies and chapters of our careers, we kept crossing paths. When we reconnected a couple of years ago, it felt like those paths had finally brought us where we belonged. Today, we're building Grit together.
Sarah was born on a golf course, raised around maintenance barns, and went on to lead equipment operations with millions of dollars in fleet. With more than 22 years in parts sourcing, purchasing, and fleet operations, she knows how to find the hard-to-find and keep a repair moving.
Jeff is an Army veteran and heavy diesel technologist with more than 25 years across construction, agricultural, turf, and industrial equipment. He brings hands-on technical experience and service leadership to coordinating technicians and equipment repairs throughout Southeast Michigan.
Together, we understand both sides of downtime: what it takes to fix the machine and what that lost time costs the business behind it. Grit Fleet brings those two perspectives together, with on-site service, parts sourcing, and repair coordination built around the people depending on the equipment.
Our purpose is straightforward: find the right part, send the right person, and get you back to work.
We've spent our careers helping other people build their businesses. Now we're building ours together, with the same belief that brought us here: show up, take ownership, and keep your word.
